Projekat „Rock the Green Trail Via Dinarica“ – Magična penjališta Bosne i Hercegovine.
The Project
The primary aim of the Project promoted by the grant is to support development of the BiH
touristic sector through development of outdoor tourism. This overall objective is defined
by the following benchmarks:
1. Identified potentials for rock climbing in municipalities on Green trail Via Dinarica
BiH and infrastructure for rock climbing created in selected municipalities;
2. Established cooperation of different stakeholders for development and promotion of
rock climbing as prosperous tourist product;
3. Developed formal certified education and infrastructure for of the rock climbing
Instructors;
4. Created ICT tools and public campaign for promotion, popularisation and usage of
rock climbing new destinations for tourists and travel agencies;
5. Organised regional events and established formal network for international and
regional cooperation of different stakeholders for promotion, networking, joint project,
activities and popularisation of rock climbing as great tourist product;
6. Raised awareness of population (target groups, final beneficiaries, stakeholders)
about rock climbing benefits and new tourist product.
In order to achieve this aim, the following measures are planned:
1. Capacity estimation and infrastructure and capacity building for development of
rock climbing as new tourist product on the Green Trail Via Dinarica BiH (Expected
output 1);
2. Joint development of types of rock climbing tourist offers based on newly
established preconditions and creation of Plan for promotion, presentation and selling
(Expected output 2);
3. Development of ICT tools for promotion, presentation and selling of new rock
climbing product. (Expected output 4);
4. International networking and promotion of the rock climbing in Bosnia and
Herzegovina (Expected output 5).
